Trip out East

This past week I had the opportunity to take a trip with my mom to visit our cousins and aunt out east in Maryland. I have had my bucket list to see the DC Cherry blossoms in spring for quite a few years. Unfortunately I missed the season, but it was a wonderful 5 days with them. We explored through Maryland, DC and Virginia during the trip. We don't often get this kind of time together due to living so far apart. We had so many great talks, laughs and made great memories just being together! We decided it needs to be a tradition of doing this "girls type weekend" more often. I walked away refreshed and somewhat ready for what spring/summer has in store for us with soccer and lacrosse around the clock at our house. Happy Spring to all of you!
