I was out of town for work this past week which can always be hard on my family and me (even though they think it is like a vacation). It is the furthest thing from a vacation. I love being at my kids activities. They are only young once and I don't want to miss anything. I had to miss 3 of Jack's soccer games this past week, but was able to catch Meg play with her team on my way back into town. She really has changed this year. I think depending on the team you are on and what the communications is like between players it can make a huge difference. She is on a team that listens to her as the keeper. There is no negativity toward her or decisions she makes. And as a result her team trusts her. It is these things that teach her and my son so much about life and gives them skills that will last a lifetime...
