Hard to believe we have finally hit the end of the club soccer season for the Spring 2019 season. It was hard going for a few weeks, but we survived and are ready for a break.
Jack had another amazing season with his Electric City team as their goalkeeper. They were the East Central champions again this year and are looking forward to playing State next year. They are ready for a challenge as they have been the East Central Champs for 2 years now. We are so proud of Jack and sticking with it even when it was hard due to him playing High School Lacrosse also.
Meggan had a great season as well! Her team came in 2nd place for their division in East Central. It was a huge win and confidence booster for her. But her goalkeeper gloves are hung up to dry and air out. With her starting high school she will not be playing club soccer anymore as she is switching sports to play Tennis. We are so excited to watch her on the tennis courts this fall!
Ally had a tough year. But she stayed true to herself and kept pushing through no matter what was thrown her way in the game and off of the field. She is hanging up her blue uniform and moving to a new team. She will greatly miss her teammates, but is looking forward to a fresh start and new beginning. We are excited for what the future has in store for her on the soccer field and off of it.
Now to get ourselves ready for a long overdue vacation out west to visit my brother and to Idaho to visit friends of ours. We are ready to get ourselves refreshed before the high school sports and Ally's fall soccer season kicks off!
