Yes where we live it is called the frozen tundra. For the last day of the year my kids and I got outside in below zero temps to do an experiment. We made bubbles and let them freeze. Oh it was so cool to watch before our eyes the bubbles change.

And with that I am excited for all of the changes to come in 2018. I will be doing a 365 challenge, and have a project that I am in the planning stages of. So much excitement and fun to come for 2018. I hope that your New Year finds you healthy, happy and feeling blessed!

My boy. He is no longer a boy that is clear. He is a young man. He has his moments no doubt. He is a teenager. We take the good with the bad. But last night he became a Life Scout. He was so proud. He has worked hard for this moment. You see Life Scout is the step before coming an Eagle Scout. Yes that's right. My 13 year old son is one step away from being an Eagle Scout. It hasn't always been easy. He has had to get up early on Saturday mornings to go to workshops and so may have missed out on things, but last night he saw the light of what his future is. He thanked us. He now will be able to begin the process of thinking of what project he can do to help our community or something else he may have a passion for. And I sit here today and just think I love this kid no matter what. I take the good with the bad. He is my son and he is going to do amazing things in this world...
