My sweet daughter had her braces and top/bottom expanders put on this week. She has had quite a sore mouth. So, when I saw the theme I knew it would be of her sweet lips. The poor girl is all chapped and is struggling to eat real food so is sticking to protein shakes and soups at this point. She says it hurts to much to eat real food. We are hoping she will realize she can stick to that kind of "diet" for the next 28 days and definitely not for the next 9-12 months. Oye! I never had expanders so I don't know how that feels, but I had braces and remember the pain on the lips. Oh to go back to that time again. But, she is going to have a million dollar smile when all is said and done... Thank god for Orthodontists!
