This spring my logo is going to be worn by a group of U8 girls soccer players in the Kimberly Area Soccer Association league. I am very excited for this opportunity to get my business out there in the Fox Cities. I can't wait to see the girls wearing my logos during the games. And I can't wait to photograph them as they play. It helps that I got to request that my daughter, Meggan, be on the team that wears my logo. :) She has played soccer every spring/summer for a few years.
In addition, my family and friends know that I am always volunteering with activites at my kids school, as well as being a Make a Wish Volunteer/Wish Granter. A friend of mine asked me to help with the St. Baldrick's fundraiser that she is organizing for June 2nd in Oshkosh, WI at Oshkosh Irish Fest. If you are not familiar with this foundation please go and check it out here. They are are great organization helping to raise money to find a cure for childhood cancer. People will raise money and then we have stylist who come and shave their heads for the foundation. It is a pretty moving experience. My friend has seen family members come to do it for mothers they have lost to cancer, etc. So, I am very excited to help with this fundraiser. I will not be one that is getting my head shaved. Instead I will be donating my time by taking the pictures of the event and capturing the moments of what St. Baldrick's is all about.
